A hands-on apprenticeship in leather shoemaking, from pattern cutting to finishing.

Trainees learn pattern cutting, lasting, hand-stitching, sole attachment and finishing. Graduates leave with a starter toolkit and a route to paid work in our workshop or their own.

Leather Goods Craft

6 months

Bags, belts and small leather goods: design, cutting, stitching and finishing.

A focused course on bags, belts and small leather goods. Covers material selection, hardware, edge finishing and pricing your work.

Business Skills for Artisans

8 weeks

Pricing, bookkeeping and selling for craftspeople.

Practical business training so graduates can price fairly, keep records, manage stock and sell both locally and online.
